A friend of mine, a dear one saw my essay, and from out of the blue just told me, " ...I'm proud of you." Now, he is a really good writer who can be quite the critic, so i wasn't sure whether i should take his word for it. Well, he did mean it, and he doesn't know it, but it meant the world to me.
It pretty much made my day.
